Welcome to the Brassy Broad's Brass Tacks Pod-Class! This is your DIY Guide to Creating a Kick-Sass
Launching your first podcast can be a bit overwhelming when you try to do it on your own. The objective of this course is to help you focus on the brass tacks essentials of getting your podcast off the ground and into the ears of your audience.
Many podcasts never see the light of day because their creator is overwhelmed and just doesn't know where to begin. This mini-course will guide you through the beginning phases of your podcast creation, and help you build your podcast on a solid foundation.
The lesson plans presented below may not be "the only way" to
do things, but they are efficient for having a limited amount of resources. The mission of this program is to give you options that work for a variety of
technical skill levels and budgets.
The accompanying workbook is designed to help you gain clarity on WHY, HOW, WHERE, and a host of other questions that will help you create the podcast you would be excited to have in your ears.
Before we begin this journey, let's meet your instructor!
I'm Jen, the Head Broad in Charge at The Brassy Broadcasting.
I believe you have the power to change the world with your voice. You know your WHY. The HOW should not be the hurdle that stops you from getting your podcast out into the world.
My experiences as a musician, podcaster, and business owner have shaped the lens through which I view podcast creation and production. I've learned to keep it simple, sustainable, and that "more cables = more problems."
You don't need to add Audio Engineer to your resume to make a podcast that sounds great and serves both you and your audience.
Let me guide you through getting your podcast started and out into the world.
